Default Moving to Westford

Hi, I've searched and read all the posts about Westford, but just thought I'd throw out a recent request for information. We are currently looking at houses in Westford and are drawn there mainly due to the good schools and larger land/houses we can get. My husband works from home half the time and the other half, he travels and flies out of Logan. We are a family of 2 adults and one child (1.5 yrs old) with plans to have another in the near future.
I was hoping some seasoned Massachusetts residents could comment on what they think are the Pros and Cons of Westford. I'm looking for personal experiences and would love to hear about activities for younger children. How's the library for toddlers? Are there a lot of playareas? Are they well maintained?
We currently live in Waltham and are looking forward to the quietness of Westford. We will be moving into the Lakeside Meadows area.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.. I love reading these forums.

Afraid I can't help you, as I know nothing about family/kid matters, but do live in Littleton. I think frequent commuting to and from Logan could get really old. Has he considered flying out of Manchester, NH? A few miles further on paper, but an easy drive, cheap parking, small nice airport.

Thanks for the response. I just checked MHT airport flights and unfortunately, he'd have to connect to get to San Francisco.. and with his flight luck, he's better off only taking one flight But it'll be a good change of pace once in a while.
Thanks again.
