Default OB choice: Emerson or Newton-Wellesley

New to town. My primary physician referred me to an OB affiliated with Emerson Hospital. Though the OB's office's right next to the hospital, she sends me to Newton-Wellesley for ultrasound. I was told all my ultrasound will be done at Newton-Wellesley. I am truly wondering why? Does it imply Emerson's facility is not up-to-date?! Or should I switch to an OB affiliated with NWH directly?

thanks.

Where do you live and how often do you think you'll be having ultrasounds?

I had both my babies at Newton Wellesley. I was very happy with the care I received.

I second 2KidsforMe - I've been to Newton Wellesley and was impressed with the care. My OB is Dr. Bessim but I've heard terrific things about Dr. Molly Clark, who is also affiliated with Newton Wellesley.

When I lived in the Boston area my OB/GYN was Dr. Molly Clark. She's great. Highly recommended. I also think highly of Newton-Wellesley.
