I haven't climbed Mt. Greylock, but I've driven to the top. It's ok as mountains in Massachusetts go--there is a pretty view of the valley below and a monument on the top--but it's not in the same league as the Presidentials in New Hampshire or just about anything on the West Coast. If it were nearer to me I think it would make a great place for day hiking, but seeing as the drive for me is comparable to the drive to New Hampshire I don't think I'll go back.
