Default Quincy Marina Bay - Worth it?

My wife and I are thinking about moving from elsewhere on the South Shore to the Quincy Shore / Marina Bay area, sort of pre-retirement. It looks nice, but we'd love to hear some insider gossip from those who live there now, or at least are knowledgeable of the area. It seems like some of the condo buildings have very many units for sale, which has me wondering. Thanks in advance.

Consider the noise factor from the local clubs and air planes before making a commitment.
