Thanks. Yeah, we definitely have to do a little research on the union there. We'll probably have to find out where they are located and narrow down the living situation based on that. Just anxious for a change, I guess!

I think his liscense could be transferred.
As for towns, Norfolk county is nice, and has good proximity to Boston, but isn't right outside. Towns include Avon, Bellingham, Brookline (which can be pricey), Canton, Cohasset, Dedham, Dover, Foxborough, Franklin, Holbrook, Medway, Millis, Milton, Needham, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville, Quincy, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, Wellesley, Westwood, Weymouth and Wrentham.

OceanAlli: I too am looking to move to MA in approximately one year (when my daughter leaves for College). I currently live in NY as well. I've long wanted to move to New England and having recently visited Salem a few times I really like that area.

We'll probably have to find jobs in Boston. We've lived in NY all our lives and this will be the first major move. Don't even know where to start. Which city around Salem (including Salem) would everyone recommend? I'm looking at Salem, Danvers, Beverly (I think Marblehead might be too pricey for us).
