Default If anyone leaves MA, where are they headed?

And do not say NH or Maine or many of the New England states. Just VT, CT, RI as options lol.

Me, I have Portland OR and Louisville on my list as of now.

Im preparing for the day Mass might melt down, so I am not planning to be in the state in the long haul. Anyone with me?

Why can't we say Maine? That's where I'm headed. Louisville has some of my fave restaurants... and I'm going there for some classes in September... but I'd never want to live there. Portland, OR either. lol Why such two completely different places?

I'm guessing we can't say any of the other New England states, since when Mass. melts down everyone will just borderjump to the next thing over. Though I can't see too much to Rhode Island, since that might meltdown about the same time as Mass.

I live in the Worcester area, looking at heading to New Hampshire. If not that: Danbury CT, Portland ME, Portland OR (or anywhere in the Willamette Valley), Boise ID, maybe San Diego CA.

I love Boston. I'll throw that right out there.

However, New York City is very appealing. I've spent a good deal of time there and my career (urban planning/ economic development) would be well grounded there. I love New York City and would jump at the first opportunity to live there.

San Francisco has always appealed to me on visits and I'd take a good opportunity to live there if one came about.

Quebec City is (in my opinion) the most beautiful North American city. It's the smallest city I'd be happy living in, but It's wonderful. Language would be an issue, but I wouldn't mind learning French if I had an opportunity to live there (cost of living is also a plus).

London and Tokyo are two cities I've visited and would consider living in internationally as well.

I've been thinking about this a lot, actually.

I've kind of eliminated California, because I would miss the 4 seasons a lot. The south is out of the question because of its heat, and my political beliefs...

For US cities, I'm looking at New York City primarily, and maybe Philadelphia too. For Canada, Vancouver is supposed to be one of the best cities in the world, so that's definitely an option. Haven't been to Toronto, but that and Montreal are definitely on the table.

Internationally, I have family in Sydney but I'm not sure if I could deal with the heat in Australia either. London is definitely a consideration, I have a great interest in British culture and would love to live in a country that took soccer seriously. Spain seems cool, pero mi espanol necesita ser mejor antes de mover alla.

I'm studying to be an accountant in the US, so I'll probably stay in the US, but all those places are very attractive for various reasons
