Default Hanover

I'm looking for some information on Hanover. We have just started the process of looking at homes and have been looking in the norwell/scituate area. Someone mentioned Hanover and it seems like its a nice town but I just don't know anything about it. How does it compare to other towns in that area? How are the school systems? Should we look in certain areas like north hanover or west hanover? Any information people could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hanover is a great town. It has a pretty good mix of homes and people. There is the nice mall right on 53 along with alot of other stores/businesses...its away from alot of the homes which is nice...its good to have all those amenities but still not in your backyard so to speak.

The shool system is pretty good...it may not be the best on the South Shore but its near the top and seems to be getting better.

I would not think twice about looking for a home in Hanover. There are some really beautiful old homes as well as newer construction.

I think Hanover is very similar to Norwell(next door neighbors to eachother). Comparably speaking your money for a home will go farther in Hanover than Scituate.

Town and School sports are great too.
