Default Winthrop MA

I didnt know if there were any people out there from Winthrop MA. If so, I was wondering how those people felt about the new construction going on off of Shirley St. They have proposed to put up a 55 ft. high building along the water front. I was wondering what people from Winthrop thought about something that size along the water.

Would you mind telling me where on Shirley Street this building will be built? (cross streets if you know them). I've been thinking of returning to Winthrop. I lived there many years ago on Shore Drive. Is it near the Highlands? Or further down? How close to the water is it? As a former Winthropite I'm sure I would be opposed to it. One of the best things about Winthrop are its splendid views of the water. Will this building block the view for apartments behind it? 55 feet is really high. Thank you for this information!
