Moving to Boston area - no advice needed! Just excited.
I'm already up there, from Mon-Thu waiting to move the family up sometime in Nov-Dec. We're all driving up today and spending the week so wife and kids can check out Concord, Lexington, Arlington and Milton.
We're moving up from Princeton and excited about the Boston area and all it has to offer.

I'm so jealous! If I could live anywhere, it would be Boston/Concord. I try not to have regrets but that is the one thing I would do differently, I had a chance to move there, would have had a roommate and a place to live, and I let the opportunity pass me by. Oh well, this is NOT about me. Congrats on your move to a fantastic area! Good luck and take care, lil red

Welcome to the area, chalupacabra! Great name, btw -- fortunately, there are no chupacabra's here. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of good chalupas, either. Still, here's to you settling in well in New England.

Thanks, all!
We are in love with the area! Carlisle, Concord and Lincoln are beautiful and so close to a fantastic city. Our plan is to rent a house for a year and if our Princeton house sells in that year then buy a place. What a special part of the country this is!
