Default Brookfields to Marlboro

We've found a few homes in the Brookfield area while internet-shopping, and I was wondering how the commute to Marlboro is. My husband will probably have to do it daily. Google maps is showing that it is approximately one hour, if he takes the turnpike. How realistic is this?

blehman is on a distinguished road
Depends which Brookfield. If in actual Brookfield or East Brookfield it is a plausible time frame. If coming from either West Brookfield or North Brookfield tack on another 15 minutes. Other factors to consider is the weather, and inevitable Turnpike shenanigans. When I was doing Sturbridge to Marlborough on more than one occasion I bailed in Auburn and took U.S Route 20.

Also round trip everday the pick is just over $2.00 If you work 200 days per year it will almost come to a cool grand that the Turnpike Authority will get from you.
