Default Dry Cleaners?

Let me clarify - CHEAP dry cleaners....

I seriously paid .99 per item in Dallas, and 1.49 in Austin. I went to the dry cleaners here and spent $60 on like 7 items. I about had a heart attack.

Are there any cheap dry cleaners? Preferably close-ish to me in Sharon?

What percentage of the workers in dry cleaners in Texas are illegal immigrants working for substandard wages? What do you think the percentage of such dry cleaner workers is here in Massachusetts?

How strict are environmental laws in Texas which regulate the use of "perc," the toxic chemical used in most dry cleaning? How strict do you think those laws are here in the Bay State?

I don't know the exact answers to these questions but my hunch is that the differences in these two factors go a long way toward explaining the pricing variance you have observed.

Ummmm. ok. whatever.

I assume, then, that the answer to my question is that you are unaware of any lower priced dry cleaner?

If you have the money to live in Sharon, why do you need to find a cheap dry cleaner so badly?

Well, actually I can't afford Sharon. I make it work because my kids need the school system there. But in order to make it work, I cut corners in almost every other part of my life.

And my dry cleaning STILL isn't done because I still can't afford it... LOL.

What on earth is up with all the comments about personal finances and immigration?
All he wants to do is find a cheap place to clean his shirts!
