Hello everyone,

This is my first time posting on here. Maybe someone can give me some advice. I just moved to Bridgewater not to long ago and I find myself not having many friends to hang out with. Does anyone know of any places to meet new people preferably in the age group of 25-35? I am in my upper 20s and most of the meetup groups I have seen online are for 30s,40s,50s yr olds. I looked up volunteer events but once again its hard to find people in my age range. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, that location is quite insular. Boston and towns closer to the metro area are better bets to just meet people (try meetup groups in that area). Your area is also pretty family oriented. If you had kids, sports and children's activities can really help.

When my parents moved to the area (I am from about 15 miles south of you in Assonet) from Maryland, they didn't know anyone either. Through basic volunteer work and getting involved in politics, they met a lot of their current friends. New England is not an easy place to get to know people. Your best bet is in the city where it's a bit more transient. Do you not have peers at work to socialize with?

It's a tough situation, I hope you can make the best of it. good luck.
