Good Restaurants in Gloucester
I'm looking for a couple of good restaurants in the Gloucester area that the locals frequent. We're from NH and yearly plan a motorcycle trip down the North Shore to Rockport for the day. We've been to The Clam Box, and PT Pharnum's. Both very good. I've gotten a little info. on Cameron's, and The Causeway, but can't find a menu or many review's. We're looking for good food at a reasonable price for lunch. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There's also another place at the end of the street that Halibut Point is on. I don't recall the name. If you drive past Halibut Point on the left and keep going, when you get to the end of the street there's a pub on the right-hand side. They have good soup & sandwiches and other stuff there. I just don't remember what they're called.
Anyhow, enjoy Gloucester! I love it there...

I have eaten quite a few times at Lobsta Land on Rte128. Fish is great! I also heard about a restaurant called The Causeway which is supposed to also be great plus cheap.

Definitely check out the Causeway. Easily the best seafood I've ever had, and cheap!

I would recommend the clam shakcs like Woodmans , the one's in Ipswich and Essex as well. Farnhams I believe is also good off 133 in Essex just over the gloucester line?
