Hi Lindsey, that sounds great. I am not sure when we will be up there but we were talking about possibly this Sunday/Monday to visit. I thought we might try living there for the summer and see how we like it. How will I contact you? Gwendolyn

west roxbury is not what it used to be, its alot more dangerous now, with predominantly white teenage gangs brawling and engaging in egg war and kids being pressured to smoke and drink and bash in the arboretum.

West Roxbury is quite safe, but like anywhere else with an actual population, you run the risk of running into a bad seed. Just teach your kids to be safe, there are some basic rules like not looking a stranger in the eye. Being safe in a city is no different from being safe in the woods. You just need to know what merits caution.

I'd say look more into Dedham for schools and such
