we are looking at a property in plymouth near Myles standish state park area. it's actually a horse farm and we own horses and would be running a boarding/ training business off the property. i would love to hear the good and bad about living in plymouth and with horses. how horse friendly is plymouth? we currently live in Boxford on the northshore, which is a yuppy community with no commercial business in town, very rural, but can be snobby.

I think Plymouth isn't snobby at all- too much of a blue-collar past. Certainly nothing like the North Shore horse country.
I don't know how much business there is there for a horse business. My guess is there's a lot more business from nearby Duxbury, more affluent. But the South Shore area, esp. Plymouth, seems to have been growing steadily in recent years, and not necessarily booming/busting with the recession and all.
And girls always wanna be cowgirls! Or National Velvet. (I was both...) Good luck with your business.
