I am looking for a source that lists jobs for the artistically inclined. Graphic Design, fine arts, museum and gallery work... among other things. Most of what I've found on the internet is either fishy (craigslist) or limited (monster.com)

Any help pointing me in the direction of available creative employment in Central Massachusetts would be greatly appreciated.

I suspect you'll get few or no answers because there really isn't much to post about, especially in Central Mass.
Creative employment has always been tough, never mind in current climate.
The only people I know of in anything like creative employment have husbands who make good money to support the household. This includes painting, public TV work on many levels, and music studios.
Sorry.

Hehe, I know. I just figured I would ask on the off chance that the right person would read my post and point me in the right direction.

Do you know about www.hireculture.org? It's a site organized by the Mass. Cultural Council. I don't know how well represented central mass. is on the site, but it may be worth a look. Here's what they say about who posts to the site: "Massachusetts cultural organizations, both non-profit and commercial, can submit listings for any position within their organization." So sometimes is part-time, sometimes volunteer, but it might give you an idea about what kinds of organizations are out there, who's hiring, etc. Best of luck on your search!
