I've heard that this = mold, and not just your regular mold, the kind of mold that eats through your clothes, rendering them garbage, in a matter of months.

I'm specifically interested in Maui life ...and this is the source of the clothes-falling-apart-mold info.

Anyone on Maui ever hear of this (or experience it)?

Thanks in advance!

The more I research, the more I'm being drawn to the Big Island....still hoping to get some feedback on this mold-wrecking-clothes question

The clothes rotting malingering mildew mold problem which plagues the windward side of Maui is the primary reason why most folks in Paia and Haiku run around naked ALL the time..

It's an ongoing dilemna

I can personally assure you that the vast majority of those semi-residing at Little Beach originated in Paia or Haiku, unfortunately for them, high cost of living forced them to Little Beach, which is the only location on the Island that more or less accepts their attire, or lack there-of. Of course, hitchhiking back to the windward, mildewy, moldy side of the Island is not an option.

Pathos in Paradise, what more can I say?
