Aloha,

We are getting mixed information about how reliable internet service is in Haiku and lower Kula. Is anyone here aware of either area having problems with reliable service? Any companies to recommend?

I greatly appreciate any feedback.

I have never heard of any reliability problems using Oceanic in Haiku. The power goes out often though. And the roads in Haiku are in terrible shape. But Internet works well. Go figure.

I appreciate that feedback TwoByFour!!!

I have been reading and saw in your other post about the rust on tools. Polish them with some WD40 and they won't rust.

Are the roads in rougher shape more to the wet side of Haiku?

Mahalo!

They seem to be bad everywhere. Old farm roads that have never had proper drainage now being used by 10x the traffic they had 30 years ago is part of the problem. After a big dump of rain the county will send out a truck of asphalt which will stop at every pot hole, and a couple guys will throw a few shovel fulls of asphalt in the hole and then stomp on it with their feet. Sometimes this place is a little 3rd-worldish.

Not surprised. It's good to know before shipping over any car that will be ridiculous. Mahalo

Alot of the roads are not actual county roads. So they dony get repaired as regularly. Also internet reliabilty should be fine but since power and cable are on overhead lines, a strong windy weekend might cause you service interruption.
