Hi I am possibly relocating to Maui. I lived on Kauai for a long time. I wanted to know if anyone can tell me about the wind on the Kihei side. How windy is it and is it all day and how much wind. Does it make it chillier.
Hope someone who lives on the island can answer this for me thanks so much
Aloha
Jennifer

Kihei is pretty hot. I live in Wailuku and love the breeze.

'Chillier' starts out with the premise that it's 'chilly' to begin with. Kihei is far from ever being 'chilly'. Got down to the mid sixties here the other night, with the wind chill factor, it was probably pushing 63 degrees.

SIXTY THREE DEGREES!!!!!! FAHRENHEIT!!!!!!!!!!OH, THE HUMANITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whereas, in Chicago.....................................

And yes, it does get windy. Nearly every day. Trade winds. You never noticed that on Kauai????
