I am trying to find a short term rental in Maui. Does anybody know anything about the Paradise Garden Apts. in Kihei. Are they quiet, safe, clean etc. Would appreciate everyone's comments.

Default Paradise Garden Apts Kihei

This is what you should do, look for them online. I am not on Maui anymore. But it must be a new place, or they have new owners and they renamed the apts. Do you know the number of the place? WHen I lived on Maui, all the APTS were nice. There are no such things as " slums" on Maui. If you know the street number then I could figure out where this place is Located?

I'ld give the Kihei Alii Kai a look. I've been here for years, it's right above Kamaole Beach Park One and Two, within walking distance of Foodland, and is fairly quiet, just make sure you get a unit on the Makenna side of the building..Ono Laki, best of luck.

Aloha and okolemaluna

Default Paradise Garden Apts Kihei

Kihei Ali Kai is located at 2387, I remember when that place was being built. They were always more expensive than the other places, so they must be much more now. Paradise Gardens I never heard of that one, unless they got new owners and changed the name. I use to live for about 2 in half years at Maui Vista, , it was opened in 1980 some time, back then RENTS were much cheaper, that is located at 2191 S. Kihei Road. back then rents for 1 bdroom were $325 per month. You will never find that NOW! I had left there and found a STUDO to move to that was only $250 per month. Doubt that you can find studios anymore for that price! Check out Maui Vista, 2191 S.Kihei Rd. they have visitors staying there also.

It's pretty nice. They were built years ago as employee housing for what was then the Hyatt Wailea.
There is a nice waterfall in front. There used to be a playground for kids but I think they took it out. It's right near the beach and Trinity by the Sea Church....
