I am usually a fan of Mazda styling...this time not so much.

I think the sedan looks fine though.

The ass end of that car is bizarre.
Combine that with Everyone Wants CUVs and you got big trouble.

That's a courageous design choice. I will say those Japanese companies are making some quite audacious bets in the design department these days.

I think I pretty much like the looks of all modern Mazda's. Some of them aren't for me nor something I would drive but I look at them and think they look sharp and very unique. This is no different, I like it. It stands out instead of blending in.

I can’t stanf the front of the car, same with their CX9. It’s too long past the front wheels. Looks like a disproportionate nose. That CX9 looks like the whole front end is going to slide right off the car.

I don’t get it these days with some of these front end designs coming out of Japan. Toyota lost me. Acura is getting better and less “Transformer movie” like. And now Mazda in a few. Where are they getting their inspiration from, the whale in Finding Dory?

This will make the Camaro look like it has great viewing angles.

C-pillar on the hatch looks way too bulky. Not a fan.

I'll give them credit for offering optional AWD on a non-CUV, though. I just wish Mazda would bring the 6 wagon to the US.

Agree 6 Wagon. I'd buy one.

*drool*

Why us Americans like boring CUVs instead of that is just unfathomable.

Buick just came out with one for 2019. I am not a fan of Buick but I have to admit for the first time in my life, one passed me on the freeway and I was like "OMG WHAT IS THAT?!?!" Chased it down and found this:

Definitely the first Buick I ever thought attractive since the 70's.
