CNN's ratings have really fallen. (Huckabee, interview, stats, millionaires)

How many of these threads do we have to suffer through.
Let me repeat - we are talking here on the WWW. You know, the inter web.
CNN is in the top three on the inter web....period.
I suppose next we will measure newspapers by their print circulation.
But, humor me...in a time of cable cutting when most young and middle-aged person watch about Zero commercial TV (meaning the avg age is 60's for cable news), why should I care about entertainment hosts and ratings on these channels? Was Howard Stern being the biggest ever (puts ALL these to shame) indicative that Butts are more important than Hannity?
" why should I care..." NOBODY said you have too. You CHOSE to read and get engaged in this discussion.
I'm not a FOX fan and I ditched CNN after over 20 years because their quality and coverage really went downhill. Personally, I think if they'd stayed somewhat middle of the road they could have held a niche there but they went pretty hard left and it may have worked for them a little initially but with the right watching FOX that means that you have Huffpo and 4-5 others fighting CNN for the left and that's a lot of competition.
" I think if they'd stayed somewhat middle of the road" you are entitled to your opinion but, CNN was called the Clinton News Network for a good reasons.

I agree with Mathguy. CNN leaned left but they were much more middle of the road than they are now.
CNN just lost their ways over the years. Once a very credible news channel as well. I think when Fox started doing better than CNN, they gave up on conservative viewers and started focusing on the left. MSNBC completely caught them off guard and took most of their left viewers and that's what CNN is trying to get back now. I think CNN is on really shaky ground as many viewers just watch out of habit. They've been watching for years now. Similar to people that continually watch the Simpsons all these years even after the show went downhill a long time ago.
Don't worry, CNN will rebound, they just hired Andrew McCabe.
I read McCabe's book (from the library, because I did not want to contribute to his royalties). If his TV punditry is anything like his writing, I give him 6 months before he's cancelled.
