Direct quotes from the article:

"The evidence suggests Biden actually may have placed his son in legal danger by advocating for the prosecutor’s removal because he was widely accused of stymying anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine — replacing him could have led to further investigations into a company Hunter Biden had ties to"

"In the midst of these troubles, Hunter Biden accepted a Burisma board seat, and was paid for his trouble, sometimes as much as $50,000 per month. It is unclear what he did for the company. Burisma said at the time that Biden — a lawyer — would be “in charge of” a legal unit. Biden told the New York Times in May 2019 that this was incorrect: “At no time was I in charge of the company’s legal affairs.”

"Concern at the embassy mounted, and by 2016, officials there began suggesting the Obama administration push for the prosecutor general’s ouster. In particular, the embassy suggested that $1 billion in loan guarantees the country hoped to receive from the US in order to stay solvent should be tied to a tougher anti-corruption strategy that involved removing officials seen as blocking progress, namely Shokin."

"So in March 2016, Biden says he told the Ukrainian government that their loan guarantees would be cut off unless they removed Shokin."

"The former vice president said after the threat, “Well, son of a *****, he got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.”

And Yet the article has the gall to call corruption accusations bogus on its subtitle (not real journalism).

And more they justify it like this (not their job by the way):

"Though none of this looks great for the Bidens, it is, unfortunately, routine business in Washington to hire the family members of powerful officials in hopes of gaining influence over public policy. For example, President Jimmy Carter’s brother, Billy; President George W. Bush’s brother, Neil; and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham were all involved in business interests that once drew concern."

I mean this is insane, normal corruption good, trump corruption bad.

This is why so many Americans think Trump is a unique evil; the media protects the political class and tells Americans what is allowed and what is not.

They don't care that the vast majority of senators and political consultants are corrupt to the core, they want to convince you we live in a progressive 'democracy'.

What was this 'democracy' Russia attacked again?

The media likes to lie because they know it helps drive ratings, especially with those sensational stories that many people who you think would know such stories are false or partially false would instantly call out such stories.

Any anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine are like trying to go up a creek with no paddle. Everything is corrupt, and if you're "in" the upper echelon you're part of it.

What lying. Trump himself said this again.

"President Trump told reporters at the United Nations Monday that while he was deserving of a Nobel Peace Prize, he didn’t expect to be awarded one.
“I think I’m going to get a Nobel Prize for a lot of things, if they gave it out fairly, which they don’t,” Trump said following a bilateral meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The narcissist implies again. He wont get the award and blames some one else for it. Has any one man ever been so full of himself.

That wasn't a lie and has nothing to do with this thread.

How long has this kind of corruption been going on, and we only know about it now because of the internet?

I have a feeling the corrupt actions of politicians are a deeper well to shine a light down than the pedophile priest scandal. It's a shame the mainstream media cover for this. They could be heroes, but instead have their fingers in the dikes.

The corruption begins with Trump and the way he's pressured another countries government to look for dirt on a political opponent.

This is why they lie. Because they have figured out that there are a sufficient number of useful idiots out there such that they can get away with lying.

They can shove them underwater, point to the bubbles flowing upward towards the surface, and tell them that no, those bubbles are flowing downwards towards the ocean floor. We've got to take you the opposite direction to save you. And the useful idiots will nod and say "ok."

Operation Mockingbird, was never axed. It lives today, more than ever. Thus the reason the internet is getting censored, so the CIA can run the narrative.
