Do you really not even know that?

Jeez man, I thought I was about to have to engage in a real debate here.
With the argument being that a major newspaper never gets deposed so this is some exciting thing?

Uhmmm no. I mean if veritas gets something interesting out of it, then it might be a fun debate. But right now? not so much. Major companies get deposed regularly.

You can act like this isn't a MASSIVE deal.

I don't know if it's because you're genuflecting or ignorant - and frankly, I don't care.

The reality is this is ridiculous.

Project Veritas, the very Media Watchdog Organization that the crooked Iraq war-mongering NY Times has sought to discredit for years (and been largely successful at) - is about to show The Gray Lady has no clothes.

MSNBC Viewers are in the tank, CNN Viewers are in the tank. (I'm lookin' at you Cuomo.) Washington Post readers, are at record lows.

And...indeed, NY Times subscribers would rather read about Julia Child recipes, and overpriced Real Estate, than anything having to do with Politics - now that The Don is gone.

Consider this case the gateway drug, when it comes to the Public's realization of how absolutely Fake the Leftist propaganda news really is.

And the NY Times is going to be first in line when the onslaught begins...

Justice is coming folks. The NY Times reporters are going to have to go to trial, be questioned under oath, and it will all be recorded.

There is no amount of $$$ that can buy off James O'Keefe. The man is a legend.

Get the popcorn ready, we are in for an epic ride.

They're suing the NYT.

You depose those you are suing.

What's the big deal, really? Why is this news? If the NYT intends to fight the lawsuit, they have to submit to a deposition by Veritas.

No, they appealed to have the lawsuit dismissed, and the judge ruled against them.

Usually at this point, the plaintiff is bought off so a lying organization like the NYT can get away scott-free without the truth being exposed.

Not this time. You can't buy off O'Keefe.

The big deal is the Paper of Record has not been put in this position in modern history. It's like Mike Tyson vs. Little Mac - and Little Mac is winning. (Maybe David and Goliath works better for you?)

Do you even know what the NY Times got caught lying about? (I know, that's a loaded question since they lie a lot!) This is about to sap their already fading credibility.

Maybe you should actually watch the video, instead of commenting on something you seem to know very little about.

I'm not going to watch the video. I choose where I seek information.

I couldn't find a single mainstream media publication carrying this story.

So there's that.

Because it's typical lawsuit procedure. The lawsuit is allowed to proceed, and so if the NYT wants to defend themselves, they have to submit to deposition.

That's how that works. They could, instead, attempt reconciliation at this point but they've decided not to or veritas has decided not to.

So, on they go. To the deposition phase.

"I'm narrow-minded and ignorant, and darn proud of it!"

Yeah, that checks out.

Bye bye now.

This would be huge IF the deposed would actually tell the truth. They won't. They'll lie and status quo will march on...
