My family and I are planning to move to Denver by next year 2011. We're planning to stay in Denver for a week this summer to check out neighborhoods. Would you recommend us someone that wouldn't mind showing us some real estate properties in the Denver area? My husband is seeking a job at Denver Children's Hospital. I don't know much about Aurora, but I don't like what I've seen of it. We've been to Denver twice already. I LOVE Denver, can't wait to move. But, we want to make sure of buying in the right neighborhood. We have two kids, a daughter who'll start 9th grade in 2011 and a boy who'll be in second grade. I'm a school teacher. I appreciate any advice. Thanks.

When you are saving money for your first home, it can be daunting to think about how much cash you will need to become a homeowner.

While there are FHA-insured loans that require just 3.5% for your down payment, those loans require you to pay mortgage insurance for the life of the loan, which will keep your monthly payments higher. Most conventional lenders offer home loans with either a 10% or a 20% down payment, although some lenders offer loans requiring as little as 5% down....

Often Buyers and seller want to know where they can look at housing for sale without registering on a website.

In metro Denver look at recolorado.com

Limited information is available on the site.

For example no tax info is displayed, it does not mean there are no property taxes.

The county assessor's office has that information.

Do you want a specific and ongoing housing search? Contact a local Realtor with an ILD website...
