The MD/DC/VA adventure group of Meetups.com sponsored an intro to flying at the Mananas airport. For $127 one could start, taxi, takeoff, fly and land a small plane.
For me the decision to go was a no brainier. I paid my fee and waited for the Sunday of the meetup.
The weather was perfect when I got to the Mananas airport. The drive down was uneventful and I was relaxed and ready to fly.
I checked in and waited my turn. There were two women there also waiting....

I'm pumped. I'm going flying this weekend. Yes!
I belong to Meetups.com. There is a MD/DC/VA adventure group that is sponsoring this event. The group is fairly large so you have really pay attention when the emails come out or else you'll miss something cool.
