Have you looked at anymore houses in PA? What are you looking for - how many bedrooms price range etc? Are you sold on Scranton or are you checking out other areas ? I'm going down this week. Need at least 4 bedrooms, large EIK, formalining room and a kitchen that does not need a total make over right away. I am partial to older homes, nice wood work, front porches and fireplaces. Besides Scranton I am looking in Wyoming Valley district and Wyoming Valley West.

Hi Amandajoy! I think at least from what you wrote that you will like this area.Sometimes the oldtimers get into a complaint mode. There are also a few who REALLY do not want NYers OR NJers in the area and they try to discourage us by saying that the taxes are high or whaterver. But most of them are really nice friendly people.If I can be of any help let me know.We are going down again around spring break.I have a really nice R.E.broker if you need some one's name.
