The dog you are seeing on my profile pic, is part spaniel and other stuff. The part shep one is much larger, and looks like a shepherd,, but with bent over ears.

Check out the Brooklin area. This whole peninsula is close to a lot of places, but off the beaten path. It tends to be liberal politically. A lot of trust funders have moved in.

Sailor, in pursuit of transparency; I am from a little place called Eastport. It seems on CD that quite a few folks think of us as Shangri La of sorts. Many on here will expound the virtues and scenery of Eastport including AustinB. He is from Brooklin and he and I will have running battles over his sending more people this way to buy and leave houses empty for all but 2 weeks a year. Some are at least half a bubble off plumb, if you know what I mean. I started jokingly, talking about Brooklin as being better and that these "outta plumb" folks should go there. As you may notice, I am a bit of a smart "mule" with a good, Downeast, dry, sense of humor.
