its been a while since i posted, mainly due to a new job, and that incident with the rabid squirell, Its been crazy, but all is well. Sunday after Easter ive decided to go back to church after a long break. I was watching a show on the history channel the other day about indians, and it reminded me of the time that me and my naybor decided to be indians, the smell of spring outside, blowing through the open window also reminded me of times gone by. but then the smell of wood burning from aways...

One bright and sunny afternoon in which my parents werent home, as was generally the case between8am and 4pm. I stayed with my grandparents who lived right beside us. the only thing that separated our house from theirs was about an acre or so of corn, depending on the time of year and what my grandpa planted.

SCHOOL--1957 vs. 2007




Scenario:

Jack goes quail hunting before school,
pulls into school parking lot with shotgun in gun rack.


1957 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun,
goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack.


2007 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail
and never sees his truck or gun again. Counsellors...

Ever have those days or weeks where you meet yourself coming in the door and swear you just left?
Sometimes i think if i had one of those machines where i could clone myself that way I could be in two places at once Id be better off. The world may not be since there would be two of me, but I might get more done.

My day as of yesterday like went this.
1.get up slap snooze 8 times till my wife gets mad enough to make me quit
2. get to work realize i had left...

Today is gonna be like taking a jump back in time. My daughter is going to play in the old gym at my old high school, one which I havent been back into since i graduated almost 20 years ago. I thought they had torn down the old gym when they built the new one, but apparently not, only thing i can think of is wow this will bring back some memories. From the 4th grade thru 12th i played in the gym, made new friends, lost some friends, got in fights, broke up with gfs. i guess im a hopeless romantic...
