Yes, City Data seems to be rant-heavy these days. I miss the old days. NMLM complains that it's too political and then makes inflammatory political statements. I'm thoroughly sick of hearing why something is bad because the (insert political party) is involved- and both sides do it. Sometimes it feels like society is swirling the drain . We drove up 179 to the new brew pub in Amherst yesterday. We were semi airborne all the way. Rumor has it that 179 is getting new pavement this summer, and maybe some reconstruction. Would be nice. The brew pub - Square Tail Brewing - is worth astop.

Cold! And, the lake has been drained dry. I'm seeing trees sticking up out of the ice that I've never seen before. It will be interesting to see spring run off. The snow has little moisture in it and I'm thinking it won't be as bad as predicted. A week in St. Pete Beach drives me closer to a 50/50 split when I retire. How 'bout you?

Yeah, Austin, I think so too. It was probably my fault because I contacted him (not knowing who he was...) about the wood-cutting that we'd planned. He actually told me that the land was "good for nothing", which astounded me. Does he think everybody buys a lot to build on??? I was not planning to put a shed or barn there. It's too wet. I have a brother who develops springs, and we can dry up that lot plus get a clean source of water. I guess it did upset me more than I realized. Thanks for the info - Dave

Well we are at a stand still for a few days. Tresses are not in and should of been today or tomorrow... but were told yesterday not until Friday. Steve left to tell the carpenter who would of been there puttin' around. It would of been great to have the tresses started. My son in-law came by and help for the weekend and did pretty good I was impressed. Was quick but did a very nice job.
Anyways... Ireally wanted to purchase the tresses from Home Depot, just so I knew they would of been here by now, oh well... we wait.
Hows the building going on your end?>

You're not lousy at stuff like this -- I just came out of left field with it.

Poor Garfie. I'm sure he'll be happy to be with you in any capacity, even if he's downstairs. Glass half full and all that jazz.
