This original writer had another post in the Roanoke forum shut down - when I first read his post (I need as white a community as possible) I just rolled my eyes and went on, but when I began to see the trend, I got sarcastic.

I reported the other thread ("They are sending 10,000 Syrians to Roanoke so I can't move there anymore because they will rape my daughter...") and the entire thread was deleted - and right about the same time the I-81 white towns thread was locked (but not deleted). It was definitely a sarcastic response but I was getting a little aggravated with what the original guy (Nomad 14). On another place he had whined that he had found a great lily white town (Roanoke) and now he was not going to be able to move there after all because of the refugees.

Thanks for the info. Will definitely keep him in mind. My job will be considerably smaller so hopefully cheaper.

Used this guy a couple of years ago for painting and laying down hardwood floors in our townhouse. As far as painting goes, first day they came in and did 2 coats of plaster to smooth over any divits in the wall. Second day they came in and sanded then primed and painted. We supplied all of the paint and primer; they brought their own plaster and tools. They did the whole job of floors and paint for $3500.00 and got started Monday and finished Friday and even stained our backyard deck while they were there. Our next-door neighbor had similar work done to their townhouse and referred Carlos to us. For what it's worth, our neighbor cuts hair and I believe that it was a PWC police officer who is a customer of her's that recommended Carlos. Spoken English was limited as far as calling goes but reads/sends written texts well.
