"Intelligent Design" (Part II)
The challenge to an article such as that by George Gilder is to decipher and translate the intellectual speech/words/terms which is for the most part used to impress peers, colleagues and opponents and explain in simple easy to understand terms it's application to what the intellectuals like to condescendingly refer to as the common "Layman". How sad really, because the average human being needs to be educated on such vital facts/truths...

Evolution and me: 'the Darwinian theory has become an all-purpose obstacle to thought rather than an enabler of scientific advance'
Here's a link to that article. It would be beneficial to read it a few times as the words used are...

Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides)
Here are some photos to the ancient tree once thought extinct. It more closely resembles the California Coastal Redwood in it's appearance, foliage, etc, with the biggest exception being that it is deciduous and looses all of it's leaves in winter time. Notice the same resemblance to Coast Redwood in bark colour, cones, foliage, etc but with the exception of Red/Orange fall coloured foliage just before winter dormancy. This would have been...

While visiting with the head Botanist from the Göteborg Botanical Gardens, we discussed a speciman tree on hand called Dawn Redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) The tree was long considered an extinct type of Redwood until it was actually redicovered in the mid-1940s in central China. Prior to this it was only known from fossil remains from North Dakota and a remote northern most area of the Canadian Archipelago called Axel Heiberg Island next to Greenland. This is an area 1,110 kilometers north...
