Hi bright copper kettles! How are you this year? Have not been on this site for a long time. I wish I could come up for a visit. Haven't been there since our family reunion in 2009. that seems so long ago...it was! hubby has health issues that do not go away only get worse; so I don't think we will be up that way for quite awhile (sad). anyway, hope all is well with you and your family. have a great rest of the weekend. ttyl. lcg. are you on FB?

Yes. We can grow onions, herbs, potatoes, and berries (lots of berries!). Tomatoes are tricky; I am from the South and am used to growing big tomatoes, but so far I have only been able to grow grape or cherry tomatoes. However, I am convinced this is because I am still learning about growing in the Pacific NW. My husband's father is 92, and he still has a small (but beautiful!) garden every year. You might want to ask someone else who has been up here longer than I have. :-)

Gardening in Manette/Port Orchard? What is the vegetable garden season? what vegetables can you grow? Know it will be different than SoCal; however, we have to have a garden. You mentioned you are interested in gardening, do you do veggies?
