Hello there my friend!! *smiles delightedly and hugs my dear special friend* I am so sorry that I have been away for so long...I have had to work insane hours for the past 4-5 months, at the office (for example, I worked an extra 30 total hours, just over past 2 weeks).
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! I have off for the next week, so if you would like to write more, would love to hear how you are doing these days, my friend!

This will be my first Mother's Day since both my sons passed away...I'm still technically a "mom" even though I don't have any children left or alive anymore...Today would have been my 27th wedding anniversary if my husband was still alive...And both my sons' birthdays are in May too...I don't want to get too caught-up in the "blues" just because May is full of so many special dates and memories...Can't let myself "drown" in self-pity...I bought a chocolate cake today...

Sometimes I've had to walk-away from certain people in my life in order to have peace and "mental stability" etc...But I've never wanted to become a "hater.".. Or walk-around consumed with anger. I'm trying to take a step back and catch my breath and count to ten before I go off the "deep end." (And react to every little thing that doesn't go "my way.")...Normally I'm pretty easy-going.
