Thanks cg81. I had no idea that you live in Canada too! I live in Edmonton. Do you feel comfortable telling me where in Canada you live? (Don't worry I have no intention of taking you up on your kind offer to stay at your place - I like my truck just fine). I am just curious. This morning as I was taking a shower I got into a conversation with the Lord (I tend to do that while showering sometimes) asking him as to what good it had been in my life to have stood up for him at various times in my life where it cost me something.

I have a few of questions for those of you who go to church regularly.
God willing, I will be writing another post later to share what the Lord seemed to lay on my heart this morning to speak specifically to church goers but for now I just want you think about how you would answer the following questions.

Sometimes I get discouraged as I was earlier this morning...but the Lord once again lifted my heart!

You know sometimes I get discouraged. I don't mean just with how things are going economically and otherwise. I mean on a more personal level...with my life.
Call it an ongoing mid-life crisis (after all I am 51 years old...I think LOL) or perhaps a poor diet of sorts (I don't eat very well not because I don't have the opportunity to do so but mainly because I hate taking time away from my computer work to go and cook something better than just peanut butter and jelly sandwiches)....
