Sorry about the job. It would have been a long commute. Cindy was looking forward to seeing you. DD is in the Mill Mall on route 1A.

Always stop and see Cindy. We'll be at home on Thanksgiving. Got a free turkey. That's my favorite kind. Good luck on the job. Is it with the Ellsworth American? Cindy will probably be out back, so just have her paged to the front. Trust me, she won't mind.

I wrote back to you and I was wondering when I'd hear back. I just noticed that I wrote on my own page. You'll never see it there. I'll retrieve what I wrote and be right back.

We moved to Maine last March. We rented a house on River Road outside of Calais until we bought a house. The River Road here is Coastal Route 1 that comes down the St. Croix to the Bay of Fundy, then turns back along the coast going south toward Ellsworth. The move has been so strange. We moved 3000 miles, from one small town to another, from living on the US side of the river to living on the Us side of the river, from one extreme environment (the heat) to another extreme environment (the cold), from one unique culture to another unique culture.

Are you in Maine now? I thought when you said something about renting on the River Road, that might be the Road between Brewer and Bucksport.

Right now we are both planning to be there. Things are up in the air about her work and the shape of our dog.

What kind of pickles? I'll have to try your chow chow(relish). I have been making some of my own, but I haven't been able to get the green tomatos for the past few years.

We are planning on going to the lunch, but our big dog has screwed up his knee again... can you say $800.... and we're watching to see how he progresses.

Sorry about not stopping in. I did drive by your place the other day. It looks like a very nice spot. Didn't see cars in the yard. I'll try to get in one of these saturdays.
