Hey again! I hope you and your family are doing well!

We will be moving back from Europe this summer, and I'm trying to figure out where we should live. I would be looking for houses for investment long term (rent out after a few years). I think both areas would be good for this. I think buying a house would be a better investment in the GOOF area long term though.

But I was really writing to ask....how is Stevens elementary, REALLY? I know OF elem reputation is stellar, and I'm also interested in a garden Oaks Montessori for my youngest. But the houses I tend to like seem to always be zoned to Stevens and Durham elementaries! But based on the house prices I'm seeing, it doesn't seem to matter.

What are your thoughts on the schools? My daughter is seven, and will be going into second grade. But she's advanced for her age, so would like to try to eventually get her into a magnet school or vanguard.

Anyway, just hoping I could pick your brain on the matter. Thanks!

    Hi Chris,
We are building in Oakhurst this fall with Highland. Any tips on the community you could give us ahead of time? How strict is the HOA to backyards that face the golf course?
    Thanks.

Chris, Thanks for your time in advance. Can you please share your experience in using Meritage's in house lending company? I am currently shopping to decide between whom I should go for. Mertigate is offering to pay like 3% of the closing costs...in all, I am thinking if it will be worth to go with them vs. say a BOA or Chase...? Thanks !
