LOL yes, and thank you - I have definitely been told the L Ronstadt thing before, but I always enjoy hearing it again. And that prize money shocked the heck out of me, but I won't have any trouble spending it over the holidays.

I see you are a tiny house advocate....we have been looking into tiny homes for a few months now and really like the idea of the simple life style. My husband is 69 and has physical health challenges; I'm 59 and hoping to retire asap. We'd like to learn about tiny house ideas and areas in Oregon/Washington. Also, what are the building codes/challenges for building a small cement slab, with utilities and room for garden and small work area on about 1/2 to 1 acre? We'd like a much smaller home to take care of currently we own clear a 1052sqft in SoCal. We just can't take the upkeep and the craziness of this area any more. Do you know of any tiny homes for disabled i.e. need 2 ex long twin adjustable beds, room for wheel chair access and set up for persons with low vision. Kinda like no one even thinks along those lines of older persons with health challenges? Have you seen or heard of any types of tiny homes 500-800 sq ft? Thanks for any ideas.

Thanks, Chris. I like reading yours, too! Whenever I see your name, I think, oh, GOOD - he chimed in!
Like I said last week - I was once a professional, paid writer; I honed the craft over 20 years. It's experience, that's all! :-) That and a long and productive, varied life...
    Thanks again!
