Hey, thanks. That's so thoughtful of you. Our son actually attends U-MD as well, so they ride together on Tuesdays. Our daughter is only taking two classes and she is there from approx. 11:30-4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I take her on Thursdays and pick her up for lunch between her two classes. She's not really a social butterfly type, so she hasn't complained of being lonely, and she has met a nice girl in her French class who is a freshman and new to the U as well. I will pass along what you said and see what she says. I know that she hangs out on the 4th floor lounge of the CASL building and rarely in the student center.

Thanks again. This is very nice of you. : )

LOL!! You are kidding about the solution to the robin problem, right? I am a terrible aim, hee hee. I would like to have an in-person chat with the young lady on the other end of the phone...maybe I could just hint to her your suggestion - she'd no doubt pop a forehead vein. Thx for the laugh as well as your real advice...bridgerider

Grosse Ile is a terrific place. I will be happy if we get to keep our house. We have a very complicated loan situation arising from our lender going out of business.

Hmm. That's a pretty interesting perspective, Coldjensens. I'll have to think of things like that more often.

    How's Grosse Isle treatin' you?
