Hi thanks all for the information, but my husband and I do not want to go south to Texas or Florida. We just want to locate in the North East, either upstate New York, Rhode Island or Ct. But for financial reasons I think we will have to stay upstate. We are wondering whats the best SUBURBAN upstate area to relocate to. We would like to be within 3hrs of NYC. We want higher education, mass transit, LOTS of SHOPPING and good medical facilities near by. Any suggestions??????
