I will be visting family in New Bern and would like to know if you handle rentals, apts, condos, houses, anything. I am considering moving to the area and will be looking around probably over the weekend while there. Perhaps closer to route 70 and the moorehead city area as I would most likely look at a hospital for employment and don't want a long drive. Thank you and you pics are awesome!!

We have had great weather for almost a week now. It was warm enough for shorts and washing cars this past weekend. On Monday I took the boat out on the river for a short run.

Tuesday was so nice that I regretted having to work. That night my fishing buddy and I made plans to go fishing on Wednesday. We knew we were unlikely to catch any fish, but we wanted to check the water, and start to distance ourselves from...

I like to think of the Crystal Coast as a refuge from ice, snow, and cold temperatures. This year has challenged that theory. We saw one half inch of snow on Inauguration Day, and we have seen far colder weather than we have in the previous two winters.

We are in the first week of February again experiencing some cold temperatures. This morning, February 5, when I got up our temperature here on the White Oak River...

The weather is absolutely stunning along the Southern Outer Banks right now. It has cooled off this week, but the ex-Canadian in me would have a hard time complaining about temperatures in the sixties in late October.

Last week we were in shorts. Yesterday when we went fishing, a stiff breeze from the north made our hooded sweat shirts feel pretty good.

Still this is a great time of year for fishing and enjoying the water. The best of the fishing still is to come...
