Hey, bro ... I'd be happy to help. First off, nix Cherry Chill. I know it’s close to Philly, but it’s about as sleepy as any town in the Midwest. You definitely won’t get that fast-paced East Coast feel there. You will get that in Long Island, but LI is a strange mix. You could end up in the hood, or in a Goodfellas movie. It’s that divided … and they don’t always take kindly to newcomers. You can always jump on a train to NYC, but you can do the same in North Jersey - and it’s closer. The point being is there are still cities in North Jersey that are worth living in and are close to NYC and other areas that still have job opportunities … although some are expensive. If you tell me a little more about your situation (age, career goals, social/night life preferences), I can be more specific as to which cities would be the best fit for you.
You seem to know Jersey pretty well.Let me ask your honest opinion. Is there still some decent cities in Northern Jerz, where a single dude can make it out there and come up? Or is it better to try like a Long Island or Cherry Hill, NJ to get more accustomed to the East Coast fast paced way of living?Do you feel me? Any insight would help out. Thanks.
