    All of those areas are fine, except that the public schools are not so good if that's an issue for you. There's a lot of traffic on Germantown Pkwy and on Walnut Grove which can be frustrating. Gtown Pkwy, in particular, is a never ending parade of strip malls, so you've got every conceivable restaurant and store available. The snobby Germantown and Collierville people will tell you that Cordova is not nice, and it's not as prestegious as those two towns, but it's a totally ok place to live. Kind of generic suburbia, but still alright.

    I posted this in the Neighborhood Map thread, but maybe you could answer this for me:

    Can anyone tell me about the area south of Walnut Grove around Walnut Grove Lake? Also, how is the area around Colonial Country Club, specifically Bellehurst Dr.? What about the area around Houston-Levee, north of Macon Rd? Thanks in advance, we are flying in to buy a house at the end of May and I want to narrow down the areas where we are looking.
