It seems to me that the entire BosWash corridor, from Boston and Providence down to Washington, is the epitome of soulless and rootless life. It's similar to how Chinese people perceive the Hong Kong and Shenzhen area as the heartland of capitalism and rootlessness (Beijing is DC).

Growing up here, it occurred to me that our multiculturalism is internationalism and not the American dream. Instead of talking about how immigrants integrate into a successful American life fusing together...

Many people have been talking about a "Social Credit" score going on in China. Well guess which country started credit scores that's right America.

Back in the '70s you could go from one city to another in China or most other countries such as much of Africa, and there would be no way to check if you were a felon. Nobody gave a damn.

So me and the other guitar player canned the singer for being a bum ass b1ch. He was acting like a little b1ch at the recording session and couldn't figure out the lyrics properly. B1ch azz n1ccas think they halford.

I recruited another guy who is a young cat, and hopefully he doesn't flake. It's so hard to find quality singers who are willing to come to the Bronx/Mt Vernon. It's similar to my harebrained idea to become a celebrity in Asian pop by moving to my cousins house in Wuhan....

One thing I am curious about is how the band Anaka got signed and became famous. They are probably the most famous rock band that is from East Flatbush.

From what I know it's much easier for bands from Brooklyn to get signed rather than the Bronx, and I don't know why. It grinds my gears a lot because Brooklyn is very expensive and I'm not from there. What is wrong with us as a community?

Why are people from Brooklyn getting signed left and right yet because we are...

One thing that I have noticed after traveling outside of NYC is that visible poverty is pretty much not a thing here. I do not see people with dilapidated and torn garments who are not mentally ill or drug addicted. However, there are many people like that in PA.

There is basically no visible poverty in NYC. None of the sidewalks are broken, none of the buildings have boards in the windows. Coming into NYC from another place is like driving from Germany or France into Switzerland....
