    Snook are mighty fine eating if you clean them right. My grand parents traveled to the shores of Charlotte Harbor for vacations with a buckboard wagon. They camped on untamed wilderness on the shores and fished that way many decades ago. Times have truly changed. I live 2 hours north on Peace River. You can wade across here. Scenic but not much for fishing. Tight lines.

In the early 1990's the economy was in turmoil, the real estate market was tailspin. The stress of working in the world of hightech in Washington DC was sucking the life right out of me.
One day Johanne looked at me and said "lets do it, lets quit, sell our house and move to Naples Florida" The worst case scenario we don't make it work and we move back.
Well we made it. We were able to adapt. Jobs were hard to come by, but we noted that an entrepreneurial spirit was alive...
