Hey there, as I scanned your info, I see that we have read a lot of the same people and have quite a few of the same heros. I did notice one ommission from your list, well, one hero, he wrote several books. Mark Twain, most folks don't seem to grasp that, along with Bret Harte and Jack London, Twain was an authentic western writer, he spent several years in the American West and at one time - He, Harte, and London all wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle at the same time. He also wrote a book about his experiences, not as well known as quite a few of his other works, but, an excellent read none-the-less, he gave a different perspective to the American West. The book title is "Roughing It". I'd be willing to bet that it would make you laugh out loud, at least once.---Dusty

Thanks for the friend offer. So you're from Toledo as well. It's a wonder that I'm an athiest given that Toledo has a smorgasborg of churches to suit every need, literally. I see that you've managed to escap..., ahem, I mean leave Toledo for Indy. I went there once for the Circle City Classic. It seems like a nice city.

Hey, I don't know if you saw it on FSTDT (I didn't see your thread before it got locked.) but they moved the site. Apparently whoever owned the .com decided to shut it down, so they're resurrecting it at fstdt.net
