There are a lot of homes around here with views in the direction of ours, typically $500,000 and up, and others with views of Lake Sammamish which run more. Others in the $400-600,000 range have "peeks" of mountains. We are lucky to be between the Cascades and Olympics so we see them both plus Mt. Rainier on clear days just commuting on the freeway. Today it's hazy
so the mountains cannot be seen and I have older pictures somewhere but can't find them at the moment.

Hey there, I was in the Seattle thread and noticed you said your home had a view of the olympic mountains and the snoqualmie valley. I'm going to be moving to Washington in a year, and have been looking for ideas of where I might be interested in living exactly. I always wanted mountainous views. So if you could share some photos of the views you have from your home I would be greatful.

Great idea, I don't know when I might make that move myself but as my parents are in their 80s now I get up there more often. Planning on a weekend trip for Mother's day to plant the vegetable crops and maybe stop at the irrigation festival for a while.

I just started an email group for people planning on moving to the Port Angeles area. City Data doesn't do much for you after you move, so maybe this will help us to make new friends...
