In addition to that, in the case of any unexpected situations, I already restored my current policy this month, and I am planning on using this monthís driving to make up the increased mileage, it is about 9000 km. Is this feasible?

Finally, if above all are not working, should I just sell my car immediately before I submit my vehicle safety certificate to my car insurance company?

So, the vital question is whether the car insurance company will do its investigation about my odometer. If they do, they will certainly find the problem. On the contrary, if they donít really care about the odometer difference but only the safety of my vehicle, then I am fine.

Maybe the ultimate solution is just to sell my car before the car insurance company notices the odometer difference? Yet I donít want to lose my carÖ.

Hi Homi, thanks for your reply. Mod cut: discussing forum moderation.

I am the guy posted the thread "What will happen if my car insurance company find out I might drive my car during the suspension period? Any redemption?"

I agreed with your reply and really appreciate your double confirmation. Here is my situation:
Luckily, I havenít encountered any traffic infractions and accidents. (Praying for that...). However, my insurance company asks me to submit a safety certificate this year to renew my next yearís policy. And I just realized this will indicate my odometer differences if I drove my car. Hence, will they really look into my odometer? Or they don't really care about it until I have been caught during driving?
