You should consider creating a new sticky thread to simply list (with a link) the threads of topics that tend to repeat themselves. I often find myself answering (or reading) the same questions through out the year. For example, in the last few weeks we have had two threads about living near The Stamford Hospital and pretty much asking the same thing. With a sort of directory of the threads where the most asked questions have already been answered, it would probably be much more efficient for you and helpful for visitors to the forum. It would also make the forum appear less repetitive.

    Something to consider.

How was my thread about Adam Lanza off topic? The only "topic" on that forum was "Connecticut", where the topic of my thread was DIRECTLY related. Can you offer a valid reason for this according to to the Terms of Service governing City Data? Thank you!

    Hi Jay,

I was just wondering if Fairfield (the town) has any type of local newspaper I could get mailed to me.

    Thanks!

You start a new thread by using the "New Thread" button just above the list of threads to the left.

I wasn't advertising since it isn't my company, I was just trying to relay helpful information to people. I apologize for my mistake but no harm was intended.

    Hi Jay,

I'm looking for an electrician and noticed you recommended one a while ago. It's for a home inspection in West Hartford, the house has a low-voltage system and I'm a little worried about code compliance. Could I have your guys contact info?

    Thanks,
    Dan
