I lived all of my life in either Colorado or Wyoming. I have liked living in western Colorado and in SE Wyoming the best. I have traveled a good chunk of the western US. I did not like Las Vegas at all. I'm not a city lover. There are a few of the rural parts of northern California that are beautiful. Lake Tahoe itself is pretty, but the area around it is horribly overdeveloped. California is not on my list for a return trip anytime soon. I have not been to Alaska, but I know a fair amount about it because several of my friends lived there for a number of years and my uncle lived there for over 30 years (in fact, he and his family survived the 1964 earthquake there). There are parts of Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and New Mexico that I also like very much. Each has its own character, advantages, and drawbacks.

hi its onthamove. you have lived many different places in the west which has been your favorite? have you ever been to vegas or san fran? or lake tahoe? i am thinkin bout being a road tripper fulltime so am just curios. u ever been to alaska?
